The only cost outside the licence: an Apple Developer account, $99 a year, paid to Apple directly in your clinic’s name.
Questions everyone we’ve spoken to has asked
Why an annual fee if I own the system? +
The first year is free — the fee starts in year two. It exists because the rules move: NPHIES changes, the Ministry changes, and Apple changes iOS every September. It keeps the thing you own from quietly becoming the thing you can’t use — it is not a charge for nothing.
When does the clinic actually start? +
The system runs from day one — bookings, records, billing, the till. Your patients’ app takes about a month, because Apple requires a D-U-N-S number in your company’s name and issuing one alone takes two weeks. That wait is Apple’s, not ours.
What does “under my name” mean for the app? +
A separate app in the App Store carrying your clinic’s name and logo, under your own developer account. Your patient searches for your clinic and finds it — not us.
And my data? Who owns it? +
You do. Export it whenever you like in a format anything can open. We don’t sell it and we don’t use it for anything else.
I already have a system. How do I move? +
We migrate your patient files and balances as part of the licence, at no extra cost. You don’t start from an empty screen, and nobody retypes old records by hand.
Do I need the internet all the time? +
Yes — the system runs online. That is what lets branches see each other, and what keeps your data off a machine that can be stolen or fail.
How long does training take? +
Half a day for reception, less for doctors. It is built to be used one-handed in a busy corridor, not taught in a classroom.
What if I grow and open a second branch? +
From Pro upward branches are included with no per-branch fee — you open the second one and pay nothing more. On Starter you move up to Pro and pay only the difference. You never buy the system twice.
