The receptionist's queue is the heart of the clinic. ClinicOS Queue keeps walk-ins, appointments, and doctor rooms in sync — so the next patient is always one click away.
In most clinics, the queue is a clipboard, a sticky note, and a shouted name. When the receptionist is on a break, everything stops. Queue lives in one screen, visible to receptionists, doctors, and nurses simultaneously.
Check in patients with one click. Assign them to a doctor or department. Call next from the doctor's screen without leaving the encounter. Track who is waiting, who is in the room, and who is done — live.
Queue feeds Encounter (when the doctor calls a patient), Walk-Ins (for unscheduled patients), and Doctor Availability (so only doctors actually on shift appear in the queue).
Common questions
A patient-facing display screen is supported. We render the public queue without exposing names — just queue numbers — to maintain privacy.
Marking a doctor unavailable temporarily reroutes the queue. Patients are notified visually on the display screen.
